Princesses and Golf!

We had such a fun day on Saturday. We hung out in the morning a played a little bit. Then we went to the gym. The girls LOVE to play there so it is so nice (I only have to convince myself to go!) Then we came home and had a quick lunch and then got Sadie dressed in some princess clothes and she was off to her friend Cassaundra's birthday Party. She had SO much fun. There was an actual princess that came to the party and made balloon wands and painted their faces! You should have seen all the different paintings she did! They were amazing!!! I definitely got her info! Sadie was SO decorated and SO pretty!

Then we went with our friends the Mott's to Austin Park and Pizza. I have been wanting to take the girls miniature golfing and Sheila told me of this place so we thought we would go together. The kids had so much fun!

Look at those swings! Watch out Tiger!

It was kind of funny because only their oldest two kids really understood what was going on. Other than that it was kind of just craziness!

Lucy would hit the ball from the mat and then run and pick it up and drop it in the hole and shout "Yes!" The kids had so much fun! It was so difficult to keep them all away from all the water features! They loved them!
My girls cheating!?! No......
Then we went inside and they have a bunch of arcade games that are just free (with purchase) so they just keep running! They were enjoying a racing game and then Lucy snuck over to this game and it just made me laugh!
They have a little kid section but most of them you need a token for, dumb. She wanted to ride the horsies so bad but I thought you needed a token. There was this little red button on top of the token dispenser and she pushed it and it started going! We were so excited!
Oh Man! I just realized I didn't take pictures of our after party! So then we had their family over for some more fun. We made brownies with ice cream. And we made a big bed for the kids in the playroom upstairs and they watched some kid movies while the Mommies and Daddies watched a movie down stairs! It was so much fun! We all had such a good time! The kids stayed up so late and loved it and finally fell asleep at around 11:30!! I was shocked Sadie made it so long and surprisingly happily with such a busy day! It was so fun!

Our OWN Egg Hunt!

When we got home from church Sadie said, "Let's put on our pajamas!" At first I thought it was kind of funny for her to request that, but then I realized that was what Chris and I did every Sunday after church. Funny that she caught on to that! So Lucy had a nap and the rest of us just hung out for a while in our jammies of course. Then after her nap I went out and hid the Easter eggs. Sadie was coming up with so many excuses to come outside or watch me through the window! Silly girl! They had a blast and boy did the Easter Bunny overload them with candy. They still haven't really even touched it, so I bagged it all up and put it in the candy cupboard and they haven't even noticed. I think it was because right after their hunt we opened everything up and then we just put all their candy in a huge ziploc with their name on it. So I think with it not being in the fun basket it wasn't as appealing. Because with Sadie's "pumpkin bag" she requested that thing for ages! Even well after it was gone she remembered it and requested it. Silly! So I'll have to remember the whole plastic bag thing again! Anyway, they had so much fun and really enjoyed it. Here are some pictures of their exploring!

Pretty Eggs and Pretty Girls!

We had so much fun dyeing Easter eggs on Saturday. My only mistake was that I mopped the floors just before! Needless to say that clean look did not last! Lucy had so much fun cracking the eggs and just chucking the eggs in the cups. She succeeded in tipping the blue cup over which spilled down the front of her and onto the chair and of course the floor! Sadie really enjoyed dyeing the eggs and was very good at it! She concentrated so hard and was very meticulous with it! We all had so much fun!

Happy Easter!

We hope you have all enjoyed your Easter! We have had a fun one for sure! We did enjoy our very OWN Easter egg hunt which I will post pictures of later. I just wanted to get a few of us all ready for church. Boy was it a feat to get ready for 9:00am church and do all our Easter fun! Notice Lucy already has red slobber down her dress! Nice! That's part of the fun. They had so much fun finding their baskets. We had some little presents set out from Mom and Dad so Lucy was just exited about those things. Then Sadie found their baskets and they both started going throw all their goodies! They were excited to get their own lipsticks in their golden egg! Then it was time to hurry and down some cereal and lets go! We just got everyone all dressed before we even went downstairs. Because Chris and I were getting ready and Sadie came into our room so she was excited to put on her new Easter outfit. So hey, whatever works! Anyway, here is US!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

We were SO excited for our neighborhood Easter egg hunt this morning. Especially since the actual Easter Bunny was NOT going to be there! Sadie does not really like any of the holiday characters. Before each holiday she always has to make sure to let us know that she does not went whom ever it is at the moment to come in our house! She is so funny. Even at preschool on Thursday they had an Easter egg hunt (which she loved) and the Easter bunny came but she told me that she stayed outside and did NOT go in to see the Easter bunny. And at the mall both girls LOVE to wave and yell "Hi Easter bunny!" but the second we start to go towards the bunny they start to freak! Anyway, back to the neighborhood hunt! We got there just in time but we didn't really make it to the front of the pack which was to our demise! The second they said go, they were off! I took one picture of Lucy:
but that was it because I realized I was going to have to be of more help to my girls! Every time we got to a new section, the eggs were gone! Or I saw a few and was trying to point them out to them but they did not get there quick enough! Seriously, this is what we walked away with:
I felt so bad because before we got there I was talking to Sadie about helping out little kids to find some and not taking too many! (I guess more parents should have had this talk with their children!) They were so upset, well Sadie was...Lucy didn't really seem to mind or even know what was really going on with all these people! They needed to divide up into ages because the big kids seriously had HUGE baskets full. One kid even came up to Sadie and asked how many she got and then said, "Look at how many I got!" and showed her this bulging basket full of eggs. Then he quickly proceeded to turn around and walk away, I am certain to tally his prizes! After realizing our defeat, we "hopped" back into the wagon. Here is Lucy being a spazz and obviously oblivious to the terrible affairs that just took place. This is her cheesy smile! And a normal, sweet one! She was content to get back to eating her cinnamon chip bread! Sadie, still upset about the outcome of our hunt! Then we noticed they had refreshments!!! Yeah! That saved the day! We took the short-cut through the "wild-life preserve" and the girls were totally giggling as we were going over all the rocks! I am glad they have fun together!

We are EXCITED to be able to have an Easter egg hunt of our own! We will keep you posted on how that goes! We hope you all enjoy your Easter weekend!
