Six Year Old Sadie

Sadie was dying to have her birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese! Since I think I have lost my touch with birthday parties...I gave in. It was so fun and so easy. Although the night before I was feeling anxious because I felt like I should be doing stuff to get ready for her party, but there was no need! We even did a Chuck E Cheese cake! All I did was make little place cards for the table.

Sadie and Ella have really clicked since we moved here. They really love each other and it is so cute!

Sadie and Ella dancing. Love the funk in those expressions!

Hunter and Daphne had fun on the rides together. They are so cute!

Sierra, Sadie and Ella enjoying some yummy pizza!

Holden, Shane and Trevor having fun on the human running wheel! It's tough!

Everyone enjoying their pizza.

The Grown-Up table. haha

Cute little Daps loving her dinner.

Sadie was having a blast!

Singing Happy Birthday!

Who is that heading this way!!!???!!! CHUCK E!!!
Chuck E giving Sadie her crown!

I can not even begin to tell you how excited she was to get this medal!

Me and my girl

Sadie and Daddy

Sadie in the ticket blower booth. She was nervous she would get locked in there so they let her bring a friend. So Sierra went with her but wasn't aloud to help. How cute that they are holding hands! Sadie letting us know she is good to go! Really, are those huge goggles necessary!?! Haha!

So exciting!

Before she went in I told her to grab tickets and stuff them down her shirt since she didn't have any pockets. She spaced doing that while she was in there. And I told her it would be easier to get the ones on the bottom since they won't move around as much as the ones flying around. She didn't do that either. But then at the very end as the machine is turning off, she swoops down and grabs a ton that fell down to the ground! They let her keep those as well. It was too funny. She ended up earning 2200 tickets!! Woohoo!

Grandma and Grandpa Stewie got her a new jewelry box and hid money in all the different compartments. First of all she was so excited for the jewelry box, but then to keep discovering tons of dollars! She was beyond thrilled!

Ella and Sadie worked together the whole night to get tickets (as well as Mommy and Daddy) and they were so proud to get SO many tickets!

Lucy, Sierra, Sadie and Ella at the price counter! Sadie got this GIGANTIC slinky with all her tickets!! So cool!!

We had such a fun time and really got to enjoy the kids during the party. And best of all...no clean up!

1 year Pictures

Daphne is so fun and so crazy! She is already a little joker! I love that she looks at me, crinkles her nose and does a fake ha ha! all just to get me to giggle with her! She is so funny!
When I ask her what a bunny does (I crinkle my nose) and she does kissie lips and opens and closes her lips! hehe She is totally trying to do it but just can't figure it out! I love it! And she does the cutest little meow!!I love these chunks! She is our chunky monkey! I love how even her little foot is chubby and has a roll!
Dress up time! She had fun with this!
This was my toy as a baby. She gets to play with it now! It's a little flower rattle with a mirror on one side and a face with googly eyes on the other. :) She can see her cute little face in the mirror!
We all love every little inch of Daphne! The girls are always so excited to get her in the morning and after naps! And honestly, so am I! She is such a sweet heart and loves to give loves! And I am a happy and willing recipient!

Her Own World

Lucy has always been in her own little world. I absolutely LOVE it! Watching her play is so hilarious and entertaining! She can play pretend with practically anything! And she has the best voices that go along with each character as she plays! She isn't shy about it either. She is loud and so matter of fact with her stories and play! She has been known to turn a strip of fabric into a snake and carry it around with her everywhere, become very attached to figurine animals (also carrying them everywhere), making up some pretty crazy stories, playing pretend at dinner turning her fork and spoon into a prince and princess with the princess stuck on top of a tower (aka her cup)...seriously, she is hilarious! I could watch her all day!
It could stem from the fact that she LOVES movies! Always has! Remember her SECOND birthday party was a Movie Premiere party! As a baby she would say "uh-oh" whenever the movie was over or in the car if the previews were over and I needed to push play on the menu. So maybe seeing so many movies and all the crazy things that happen in movies she can easily imagine exciting situations.Maybe she is extremely intelligent. :) At first I was worried that she was always in her own world. We would get together with friends and her friend would play with Sadie and Lucy would do her own thing sometimes. Now as she has gotten older I can see examples of her little brain being so smart and the things she says amazes me. So maybe we have a smarty pants on our hands. After all, Chris was tested at a genius level when he was young. :) Or maybe I am just a mom and think she is so smart because I love her so much! :) Whatever her reason, she is just adorable and hilarious! She is very fun and very entertaining! A baby sitter we got here said that Lucy is crazy (yes I know) but that she can tell that Lucy is going to be so fun to hang out with when she is older! It was so funny to hear, but I can completely agree! She is very fun!Today as we were walking to our car she saw a door on the outside of a building that didn't have a handle on it. (probably an emergency exit door) She asked me what was on the other side of it. I told her it was probably what was inside the building (in this case the gym). She said, "No, I think it is Jesus in there!" Wow, that was not the response I was expecting! She is so funny! I said, "Well sure, maybe! What is he doing in there." She said, "probably hiding or something." She is too funny! The way she says things is hilarious too! While walking up to a store she was looking up at the sign and said, "When it be's dark they need to turn them lights on!" Meaning to turn the lights on the sign. It's just too cute! She was telling Daddy one day that a fly was flying around the house. She told him that when the fly lands on you "they tickle you with them legs." hehehe.
She really brightens up our days and always makes us smile! She is hilarious and I love hearing the stuff that comes out of her mouth!

Birthday Time

The girls were so excited to wear their matching outfits to church! They all looked so cute!
Averee and LucyEvka and Sadie. Poor little Evka hadn't been feeling well and was finally starting to get better! It was so sad to be sick while they were here! Some weird random stomach bug!Shane and I share our Birthday! The best day in the world according to Shane and I! We had a little get together for some yummy cake and ice cream! Lyndsee made her famous Better than sex cake! It is my favorite!
We got a little help blowing out the candles! It was so fun and so yummy!
And can I just say, that besides all the fun times Lyndsee provided, we had just moved so my house was still a disaster and Lyndsee came, in true Lyndsee form and helped me whip the house into shape! Seriously!?! Could I ask for a better friend!?! Best Birthday EVER!

Birthday Surprise!

I had the BEST birthday present ever! My best friend completely SPOILED me and flew her and her girls out to visit us in Las Vegas! The best part about it, I had NO idea!!!! Seriously, none!! She had arranged the whole thing with Chris! So Chris stepped out of the office for a bit to pick Lyndsee, Evka and Averee up from the airport. He called me up and said he was driving into the neighborhood and to come outside. He said he went to the bathroom at work and just wanted to come see us quick. It made me a little nervous. He said, "just come outside." So he meets me at the door and says to come outside with him. I still had no idea what was going on. I come out and the girls were hiding around the front of the garage!! We of course screamed, hugged and cried!! The little girls swept away so quickly and were off playing like we didn't even skip a beat! (Sadie and Lucy had no idea as well!) It seriously was SO exciting! Lucy went and changed into her BFF clothes like Averee. And Sadie, knowing that Evka loves to collect things, busted out her bottle cap collection!
We were all hungry so after gaining our composure :) we went to In N Out for lunch. So excited to be together!!!Then we did a little shopping quick at a store we all love but isn't in Texas. The girls got matching church outfits!! It was Earth Day so they had a bunch of recycling stuff around the shopping center. It was cool. The kids LOVED it!There is a Carousel at the shopping center so we made sure to go for a ride! The kids ran around in the grass while the mommies got to visit! It was so much fun to be together again!
We figured we needed to get some Vegas site seeing in so we went downtown another day. The M&M factory was a must! Riding the elevator! So exciting! :)Then we had to get M&M's! They had so much fun picking out what colors they wanted! The choices were endless!!!
They each got to pick out one present there. Lucy and Averee got a cute M&M dispenser which is still a hit and sits on the counter in the kitchen! Sadie and Evka wanted matching earrings. Sadie saw them the second we walked in, but I told her to just wait and look around to make sure that was what she REALLY wanted. So at the very end they still had their hearts set on matching earrings. Come to find out that the earrings, every pair, cost $22.95!! UGH!!! And they are not cute! But boy do they love them!! :)We made some new friends! And headed over to the Coca Cola factory just to walk around a bit. It was fun to see the stuff and of course ride in the Coke bottle elevator a couple times! :) I love me some Diet Coke!Lucy was in her not wanting to be in pictures mood. But we at least got her to look! The Mommies! :)We had some yummy dinner! Then went to the Bellagio of course to see the fountains and the gardens! Chris met us there after work to join in on the fun! It's a good thing he did because we could not find our car and he drove us around the parking garage looking for it! haha!! Finally we thought to set off my alarm and listen for it! We could hear it and we knew where we parked but couldn't remember the level. So we kept circling up and down the levels until we got closer to the sound and finally found it! It was quite comical since we weren't walking! That would have been a disaster after our long day of walking already! Thank you Chris!Love these girls! Best Birthday present ever!Pooped and ready to go!On TOP of flying out here, Lyndsee got tickets for her and I to go see Le Reve. It is a Cirque Du Soleil show here in Vegas and it is ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! Breathtaking! I have never been to a show in Vegas so I was SO excited! We went out to dinner at Serendipity's since I had always wanted to go there too. The food was delicious and was such a cute atmosphere! Loved it! We split the Famous Frozen Hot Chocolate to finish off our meal. It was yummy but not as amazing as I have heard. Maybe it is just too talked up. :) Then we went over to the show. We had a little time to kill so we went to the shops in the Hotel. We had fun going to designer shops and trying to pick out one thing we would (in some cases) actually wear and then seeing how much they were! Crazy!
Then it was time for the show!
It is a circular theater. Seriously, anywhere you sat would be an amazing seat. It wasn't that big so you felt really close and almost a part of it! This was what it looked like as we were waiting for it to start. So cool!
Okay, so as we were being seated they told us no cameras/pictures aloud. But then we saw people taking pictures so we tried to sneak some with the flash turned off so we weren't so noticeable. But it was too dark so they were turning out blurry. We figured we would just do it quick with the flash on since everyone else was! Lyndsee was nervous and this was the first picture we took! HAHA!!We about peed our pants laughing because she looks so scared! :) It was funny!
A better one!
Now we got really brave and had someone behind us take one with the stage behind us! :) Cheerleader pose - back to back! :)We had SO much fun and the show was amazing! These are the ending scene that was displayed. Amazing HUGE flowers just pop out of no where! So Beautiful!
It was SO great to be able to be with each other and have fun together again! We had SO much fun that night! Definitely over due!! :) It is so nice to know you have a friend for life, no matter what! Thank you Lyndsee for the best birthday EVER!!! I was SO SPOILED!!!
