Sunday Fun

We switched to 9:00 church this year and we are LOVING it. Growing up, I never thought I would say those words, but I have grown up...I guess! We have so much time to play and enjoy eachother after church. Chris was fixing us some lunch (his favorite Texan treat - Migas - souped-up eggs) while the girls and I played outside! They were having such a fun time together! They are so silly and LOVE playing together. After lunch when I said it was time for Lucy to go take a nap Sadie instantly replied, "NOOO!" Too cute!

Lucy's like, "watch out!"
"Sucka!"
We kept one of the swings as low as it can go and it is so perfect for Lucy!
Snaggle Tooth! Gotta love it!

Lucy looks so grown up and big in this picture! Just two sisters swinging! Not a big girl and a baby! Crazy!

I don't know what this was about. Either she is hiding from the camera (which she usually doesn't do) or I think she was trying to be tricky, going down with her eyes closed. She sat perched here for a little bit and then slid down with her eyes covered. Silly.

Whewww, she made it!More tackling! You think we had two boys sometimes! They love to wrestle around with eachother...but a girl version of wrestling! They just kind of roll around together and on top of eachother.Lucy is mastering the trampoline a litte more. She's really got the jumping down. Trying to do a flip like Sadie. (Sadie's "flips" are jumping and then a summer-sault)

It's All Good!

Remember a couple of weeks ago with Lucy's first dance class came so many tears!?! Besides the initial few tears from Mommy seperation, she has a BLAST! I took some pictures through the one-way window during her class to show how much fun she is having. I was going between taking pictures and then to Sadie and her friend Evka trying to calm them down and keep the peace! They can get loud and crazy! But here is what I got of Lucy and her cute friend Averee! Lucy is on the very end and Averee is next to her. Here they are doing Head Shoulders Knees and Toes. Here they are doing different "stretches." I think this one they are stretching their cheeks by blowing their cheeks out. (once again, these were taken through a one-way window and is of their reflection in the mirror, so they aren't the best pictures - you can see the reflection of my white shirt in some - but they work!)

Lucy sucking in some air!

Here they are stretching their shoulders! It is so funny to see how hard they concentrate on everything! Like here they are doing the move where you lift your shoulders up and then down but leave your arms hanging. They interprate it as moving their arms up and down...funny how they both bent them though.
They had way too much fun with stretching their arms! They were flapping them ALL OVER the place! They were giggling at eachother too! Too cute!
I LOVE this stretch. Stretching foward and back! Look how cute! I just want to get that belly!
Hilarious, they were supposed to be pointing their toes and kicking it up and they got a little confused! They are concentrating on how to get their feet to do that!
I am so glad dance is a fun experience for her now. It is so cute and they have so much fun dancing around and hopping across the floor. Her favorite is a song called Animal Actions! It was Sadie's favorite too! I am glad they enjoy it - because it is just too stinkin' cute to watch! They are starting to learn their little dances for their recital and it almost makes me cry because it is just too precious! Love you girls!

Popcorn!

Sadie and Lucy have been LOVING to pop popcorn in the old air popper! I made caramel corn over the holidays and ever since they get so excited to do it! They love watching it pop and it is really fun when one pops when it is in the bowl and it shoots around all crazy! It is so much fun! But then they don't eat too much of it and it is left for me to eat! GREAT! It's all about the fun times and the cutest giggles and squeals!

Back to Christmas...

Okay, so I haven't finished posting all our Christmas fun when my Mom was here. I actually have time and a computer to do it so here they are...in February no less! But there were some really fun times that we haven't shared!

First off is Sea World. We got season passes in Nov. when Chris' parents were here. We have already gotten our money out of them! The girls LOVE to go! They always have so much fun! We have gone twice now and we still haven't done all that we have wanted to do! This time we saw the Shamu show: had lunch, fed the dolphins:
and rode on a bunch of the rides! They loved them. Lucy could even go on them if an adult was with her. So it was fun!

Everyone was so tired by the time we got in the car. When Lucy falls asleep in the car, you KNOW she is tired! She hardly ever sleeps in the car! But she gave up the fight.

Sorry Mom, but I have to... Chris and I were laughing so hard because my Mom's head just kept getting lower and lower! I took two other pictures before this at each stage and then Chris said, "We're in stage 3 take another!" Anyway it was funny! We love you Mom!

And here's Chris and I driving! We figured we took a picture of everyone else, why not us!
We also took Grandma and the girls to see Playhouse Disney Live! We had such a good time! We had tickets for us to go that we were giving the girls for Christmas and then my Mom decided last minute that she was going to come out for Christmas. When I realized she would be here the day of the show I was anxious to see if we could still get tickets. We were able to get them and have one just across the isle and up one. But since Lucy was on my lap the whole time she just sat with us! We had so much fun. The girls LOVED it! It was so cute to see Lucy loving it! She would be the first to clap and yell "YEAH!" She was so excited! And Sadie had fun dancing and singing along to all the songs! We were also so excited that our friend's the Bates were able to come too! They gave the same gift to their girls! So it was such a fun day! After it was over we went to McDonalds for some more fun and some food! Oh, we weren't supposed to even have cameras, but we did and so we were sneaky and got a few pictures. So some of them are a little blurry because we were being quick, but you still get the fun!

I promise Sadie had a fun time! Who even knows what this fit was about!

We also went bowling with Grandma but I can't seem to find those pictures right now. If I find them I will post them. But that catches us up on our Christmas fun!

Watch out Martha!

We made lasagna last night and we had so much fun! The girls loved piling on all the different layers. They loved squishing the lasagna noodle into all the layers and of course they LOVED "sprinkling" the cheese! Lucy's idea of sprinkling was to chuck the cheese! It was SUCH a mess but they had so much fun! They loved eatting it too! I swear they ate more of the lasagna before it was cooked than they actually did once we cooked it and were having dinner. Silly girls! I thought I would share our "beautiful" creation. Good thing it was just for our family because there were many little fingers that picked through it. The lasagna turned out really good! Thanks to Tricia...I used your recipe in that elementary school cook book and then I used the Garlic, Garlic from your Tastefully Simple party. Delicious!
Sadie wanted to take pictures of the lasagna too and then wanted to take pictures of eachother. So I took this of her.
And since there are never pictures of me...here is what she took of me. It was so funny because she told me how to smile (making my eyes a little wider) she kept saying, "go like this" and her face was behind the camera so I couldn't really see. Then she told me to tilt my head to the side, so I did and then she told me to tilt it to the other side, so I did. Then she told me to just keep tilting it back and forth! Finally she took it after about 6 tilts on both sides. It was hilarious!
