Watch out Mary Lou!

The girls took Gymnastics for a little while this last summer and have since been asking when we are going back to gymnastics! I finally gave in and signed them back up. We started last week and they are loving it! Every time we go to the gym they ask if we are going to gymnastics. We go on Mondays, and Lucy kept asking the next day if we were going. I told her we are going next week. I cannot tell you how many times she told Sadie, "Sadie, we go to gymnastics next week." They are so funny. They both LOVE learning new tricks so it is perfect! I also love it because now Lucy is old enough to go by herself. In the summer it was a Mom and Tot class and she was just a little too old and wanted to do everything and it got to be a little much for me to chase her around the entire time. Not something I really want to pay for. This time, they go at the same time and Lucy is good to go by herself so I can sit back and watch! It's nice!
This is them on their first day. They were so excited to "match." They got matching sparkly gymnastics shorts, had to do their hair the same, both wearing jackets with polka dots, and they both wore their red flip flops. They loved it! I can't say that they matched on their own though, but they had fun! (Lucy found a feather too!)
Waiting for class to start! So excited! Of course Lucy is being a spazz! She is so funny and is always making us laugh!
Sadie is getting so grown up and mature. I love to watch her interact with others; a little shy and so cute. I love that she understands about taking roll, following directions, and taking turns.

Lucy does not understand (or should I say have the patience for) taking turns. She is so funny! She just wants to keep going and get as much out of it as possible. She does follow directions pretty well but I have caught her a couple times joining in with another class doing their rotation of tricks! She is so funny!(Sorry, the pictures are yucky. I only had my little camera and was taking the pictures through the window so I didn't get that many)

In a Rut

I don't know what it is, but lately my motivation level has been very low! Not just with my blog, but with everything! Cleaning my house, cooking, callings...

EVERYTHING.

I was talking to my sister the other day (as she was nagging me to update my blog) and she said she has heard that when you are pregnant with a girl that they can "suck the creativity out of you."

Well, I am just going to go with that! I just can't think of any other reason why I would feel this way. I guess this little girl is going to be SO creative and crafty! She'll be my cleaner, my organizer, my cooker and blogger! Because as of now, those juices are NOT flowing in me!

Here she is making me get bigger and bigger!
Sorry for the arm pit shot, but the flash was reflecting and I didn't want to go up to my bathroom upstairs which has better lighting...not too motivated once again - me not wanting to move since she is my mover! She is always moving! She rolls and twists and kicks! For the most part, I love it! But of course she always picks up when I finally sit to rest or when I lay down to go to sleep. It gets hard when you have two little girls crawling and climbing all over my lap and then one twisting and turning inside! They ALL definitely keep me busy!

Primary, Puppies and Popcorn

Grandma was so excited to go to Sadie's Primary Activity. She loves to be a part of those everyday moments, seeing the grand kids in their surroundings. Sadie wanted all of us to go and be with her. So we made it a fun event! Even though Lucy won't start Primary until next year since her birthday is in January, she was loving everything about the activity! It was a very cute construction/strength themed activity. (Good Job Sheila!) After the activity, we went to the movies. Lately, nothing we see compares to the movie Bolt. Ever since we saw that, they are always requesting to go see Bolt during the other movies. We had fun and enjoyed the movie and popcorn. The girls love getting the kid boxes! And it was the first time since Lucy has been potty trained that I didn't have to take a million potty breaks. They only had to "go" once and Grandma took them but Lucy was mad that I wasn't taking her and she wouldn't even go. So it really was just a reason for her to get up and walk around. She is silly. She loves to touch the lights going down the stairs in the isle! Silly girl! As you can tell by these crazy girls, we had a fun time! Oh, and before the movie we have been going to this pizza place by the theaters that we just discovered, and it is so delicious! All you Snow College people, they have "bread sticks" just like FAT STICKS!!!! We were in heaven. Also while Grandma was here, we got to take care of my friend Sheila's dogs while they were out of town and they have 6 week old chihuahua puppies! They are SO cute! The girls LOVED going over there to feed the puppies! They were such big helpers! They could not stop talking about the puppies all day and asking a million times when we were going to see the puppies! The girls would help feed and entertain the puppies while I was cleaning up the little poops and pees. The puppies LOVED all the attention from them! Sadie was so sweet and nurturing with them! She would hold them and softly bounce them like a mother would bounce her baby. It was so cute and so sweet! This little girl puppy already went to her new home right when Sheila got back! She is gorgeous! She is the lightest colored one and has bright blue eyes! Seriously, gorgeous!Look how cute! The puppy is totally licking Sadie's cheek!! They are SO cute!At first Lucy would just sit on the ground and let the puppies come to her. They would crawl all over her and lick her! She would always talk about how the puppies liked her ears! Then after the first few times of going over there, she realized she could pick them up! This became her mission! She would pick one up and bring it over to the other side of the kitchen and set it down. Then move onto the next one; just transporting them all to different spots! Meanwhile, the puppies are running all over and not staying in any one spot for more than 30 seconds! She is so cute! She was in charge! And very good at bringing them over to eat if they were by the gate wanting to go back in with their mommy and daddy! Here they all are climbing all over Lucy and of course Lucy is LOVING it! Seriously, aren't they adorable!?! The one on the right is my personal favorite. She has a cute little brown nose and beautiful blue eyes. She is such a cuddler and so sweet. When I would get there, all the puppies would be standing by the gate going crazy and she would just stay in the bed and look at me. After I set all the other ones on the other side of the gate to eat, I would go over to get her and she would just roll over and let me scratch her cute little belly! Then when I would pick her up she would give me tons of kisses! So cute! It was so fun to play with these precious puppies!

Children's Musuem with Grandma!

We were so lucky to get to benefit from Grandma's Christmas present from Grandpa...a plane ticket out here to see US!!! It has been too long and we have missed playing with family! Sadie and Lucy were so excited to have Grandma Stewie here at OUR house! One of the days she was here, Sadie and her were hanging out and Sadie said, "I am glad you came to OUR house Grandma!" I think she hears of Grandma being at other cousins houses a lot, since they live closer, so she was really excited that she was at OUR HOUSE this time!
We decided to head down town and go to the Children's Museum. It was lots of fun. We all had a blast! They quickly ran to the music/stage room! Sadie always loves the control panel that controls the music, lights, and sound effects. And little Lucy loves the stage! She dances and plays the music while she is focused on herself on the TV screen! She is always hamming things up! I love how she is always getting us to laugh!
Having fun making patterns with the roof tiles! Awww! How could you not love this sweet girl and her fake smiles! She is so sweet and loving! I love her to pieces!
Lucy has always loved squishing me face up and down, so that I make happy or sad faces. I surprised her with this one and of course Grandma took it right during that mili-second! We have so much fun together!
Sadie is ALWAYS talking about this kitchen! She always says, "lets go to that place we went to with the kitchen!" She is so funny! She likes to prepare the food and Lucy likes to sit on the other side with Mommy and wait for the food. Well, Lucy will play for a little bit but then come over with me and "eat."
Lucy was amazed at Mommy's digger skills! I have to admit, this was really difficult to operate! Not good for kids...I could hardly do it! It used lots of muscles and different wheels and nobs.
Sadie driving the bus! They always have the main section change up to a different theme. This time was about buses and motion. There was a ticket booth and the girls instantly came up and asked for tickets for Bolt and popcorn. Ha Ha!
Lucy loved the trains. She was up watching them forever!
Sadie hanging like a bat!
Lucy didn't want us to watch a little YouTube clip that she said was too loud. Funny though, because she loves the clip. Silly girl! Look at that face!
After lots of fun playing, we walked a block over to the Spaghetti Warehouse. It was fun and delicious! It was FREEZING that day, so nice warm food really hit the spot! I love these two pictures and have decided that I love this building! And I am so proud because I took them on my little camera and I suck with my little camera!

We had a blast! Thanks for the fun Grandma!

Being Silly!

After our Christmas Party, we had some non-Christmas color balloons left over and the girls were loving them! What is it with kids and balloons? So simple yet so enjoyable! :) They were having a blast trying to pop them and keep them up. Then I had Sadie come over and I stuck two down her shirt. She thought it was hilarious. She was a little embarrassed about it at first but she warmed up quickly. My sisters and I used to do this with just about anything, from oranges, to cantaloupe to even watermelons. We had no shame...and high hopes! Mind you we were in High School probably! Anyway, of course we had to give some to Lucy too! They even said they were big like Mommy's! (Ha Ha, I wish!) They did a few poses for Mommy, which if you ask me they seem a little too good at posing!
Then they were off bouncing off of each other with their "boobs." They were having fun wrestling and being silly. It was hilarious! They are so much fun!

A Christmas Miracle...

We are so glad to see the prices of gas going down, down, down! Hasn't yours gone down this much!?! :)
Chris was late for work the other day and NEEDED gas so he had to hurry and stop. He didn't even realize what happened until later! He paid $3.45 for 19 gallons of gas!! He said, it was 1.74 for the highest octane and so someone must have entered it wrong and he got it for $0.174!!!! I wish he would have told me so I could have filled up! :)

Christmas Program

Sadie's last day of School before the break, her school did a little Christmas Program. It was so cute and so fun to see her singing up there! Let me warn you: Chris could not take work off this year for the program, so it was just ME...manning the video camera, the regular camera, and crazy/silly Lucy! At one point she almost knocked my BIG camera off my lap! But I caught it, no worries. Also, they brought the kids out oldest to youngest. There is a kindergarten class at her school so they were first and did a few songs. We could see Sadie and her age group classes starting to line up in the hall. Just as the kindergartners finished and Sadie was about to come in, Lucy says, "I need to go potty!" Ahhhh! So I had to set down the cameras and run to take her to the bathroom (she is not at the stage of holding it in too long!) Luckily she went really fast and we ended up following the last little girl in! We made it! I have yet to watch the video of the program and I am not sure I want to while I am still pregnant, in fear that I might throw up! Lucy was being CRAZY! Anyway, so all the pictures are not of the actual singing, but either before or after the fact since I wanted to record the songs. She did so good and had a lot of fun with it! Her and her friend Alexa were being so silly by the end of the program and really hamming things up! It was cute!
Sadie and Alexa were being silly about putting on the reindeer hats. :)

Getting ready and in position for the Reindeer Tango! (They do this song but it is the Turkey Tango for their Fall Feast; but recently Sadie has been singing it "reindeer" and I thought she was just confused, but now I see!) :)

Side Note: No Sadie is not wearing a frilly Christmas dress, I know. First of all, she is not frilly! Second, it was hard enough to get her to wear that red and white striped shirt! At least it's better than last year when she was in khaki's and a blue shirt! So be proud! Especially you Tricia! ;)
